Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating a BidShred account you agree to these Terms. If you are using BidShred on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
BidShred is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool that helps EdTech vendors analyze RFP documents, maintain a compliance answer library, and generate draft proposal responses using AI. The service is provided “as is.”
3. AI-generated content
BidShred uses AI models to generate draft responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for submission. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before submitting proposals. BidShred is a drafting aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use BidShred to:
- Upload documents containing student PII or protected health information
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the service
- Resell or sublicense access to the service
- Submit false or misleading information in proposals
5. Subscription and payment
Free accounts include one project. BidShred Pro is billed monthly at $300/month via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused billing periods requested within 48 hours of renewal.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your RFP documents, answer library content, and draft responses. BidShred retains ownership of the platform, AI prompts, and underlying software.
7. Limitation of liability
BidShred's liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost contracts, lost profits, or indirect damages.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Contact us at hello@bidshred.com with questions.
